My HP app keeps shutting down while I'm trying to scan. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but it didn't help. I have not tried the other functions yet to see if they shut down also. HELP SOON!

I understand the HP Smart is not working. To assist you better, are you using a Win PC or a Mac?

What model printer are you using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.

Have you tried reinstalling the app?

I am having the same issue. When I click on the scan button, the app shuts down. I am using a Windows PC and the printer is an HP Deskjet 3720

Try reinstalling the HP Smart app or use the full-feature printer driver to scan.

 

Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Open HP Printer Assistant to scan. Do not use the HP smart app.
