Product: HP colour laser 150nw
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I am having terrible trouble setting up a new HP Color Laser 150nw. I have worked through all the suggested soltions but still nothing.  Have I got a faultly printer I wonder.

 

It will not connect to my wiFi network - I do not have WPS on my router so have tried using HP easy start - no luck.

I have also tried to print directly using the usb cable.  The printer is recognised as soon as I plug it in.  I send something to print, it appears in the queue. Then just disappears without printing anything.

 

Can anyone suggest a solution other than returing this peice of junk and buying another Samsung!
