Hi,

I´m trying to insall software for my printer and one of the steps included in the process is a step called Printer information in which i should give an information about how and where the printer will be used. 
But in the panel "Confirm your location" there is on only two options - USA and Select country. Below that panel there is a window for Zip code. 
Then there is a panel about language, again with two options: English and Select language.

Then there is a section about printer setting - Personal use, Home-based business, Business with 9 or fewer employees, Business with 10 or more employees.

I tend to choose Engish language and Personal use but what should i choose in the section "Confirm your location", considering I´m not from USA and when i choose other option "Select country" and type my actual Zip code nothing happens and I´m not allowed to continue with my installation proces. Only if I choose USA.
And does it even matter what I choose?

Welcome to HP support community.

 

This could be an issue with the driver file.

Perform root level uninstalltion to remove all the printer related software's.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers. 
  • Restart the PC again.

Download and install printer full feature driver.

Thank you for your response,

I followed every step from the list but the problem remains the same.

I enclose a printscreen to show you that if I choose a possibility Confirm your location - Select country and type my zip code and fill/choose every other tab I am still not allowed to continue, only if I choose Confirm your location - USA.

Hi,

It doesn't really matter for the specific printer, it has more effect on devices with fax capabilities.

 

Just make sure the Paper Size in your print configuration while printing is set to your correct paper size for your location (such as A4).
