Hi. I'm trying to install HP Deskjet 2630 drivers on a PC equipped with Windows Vista.
All the .exe packets downloaded from HP site don't launch any process when double clicked, so I'm not able to install the right drivers. Does anyone know any workaround for this problem?
Thank you in advance.

I'm sorry those steps did not work for you. Deskjet 990c driver might work.
Please try the steps below:
Open devices and printers.
Click "Add a printer"
Select "The printer that I want isn't listed"
Select "Add local printer or network printer with manual settings"
Select "use existing port" and click next
In the manufacturer list select "HP"
In the printer list select "HP Deskjet 990c Driver"
click next till you get to the finish option and then click finish.
Keep me posted.

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips. Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
I see that the printer driver compatible with Windows Vista is not available. Windows contains built-in printer drivers for many types of printers. These drivers support basic printer functionality for most print jobs. To install the printer, refer to Step 3 in the following document: Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver

Thank you for your interest, but the procedure doesn't work.
HP 2630 is not present in the list of drivers found by windows update.
I tried to install another driver (hp 2500) and also the Universal PCL6 driver, but neither one works.
Is there any other attempt I could do?
Thank you
