Followed all the instructions for setting up my new HP envy 6052e, but when its time to connect to the Set up network, it isn't showing up as an option in my wifi networks. I tried everything! I pressed the network button 5 seconds, tried unplugging it and restarting... I really don't know what the issue is. I'm connected to a 2.4 network and I don't have a usb cable connected.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand you are receiving a "use setup ink cartridges" error. We would have to perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the error

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the support private message icon in the upper right corner of your HP Support community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
