Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently turned on my printer and noticed that it was downloading what I assume was a firmware update. It totally screwed up my printer. First, my preferred scanning program, Foxit Phantom PDF, could no longer reocognize my printer. It took weeks of work to get it fixed. Second, the printer wouldn't even print a Word document. I discovered that the update had for some reason disabled scan from printer (or perhaps scan to printer) even though I had never done this. The control panel indicated that the printer was on, was my default printer, and otherwise looked fine. I've gotten basic printing back but this update totally sucked. And finding support on the webpage is a complete joke. This is probably going to be my last HP purchase.
