HP instant ink problems

Hi, 

I recently got this printer second hand with two full ink cartridges. It won’t print because it says that my printer is not enrolled in instant ink. I have an account with instant ink though. Does that mean I need to enroll in a monthly option for ink and throw out these two, perfectly full cartridges that the printer came with? 

ive read about other people who’s printers didn’t print because it was enrolled under someone else. I’m not sure if that’s my problem. It connects just fine on the app and prints information pages, just nothing else. It’s connected to wifi it just says printer not enrolled but I have an account

Previous owner needs to remove this printer from instant ink service, so new owner can enroll it again under own account.
