What is hp’s customer service number? They’ve sent me two printer when mine stopped working under warranty. Discovered Firmware issues. Two still have issues. I need to talk to them about returning them.

The printer replacements didn’t have the firm ware installed. I had to hire some help because they were even getting the Home Screen! I returned two printers. I hope everything continues to work. But Hp doesn’t make getting help easy!!!!

It sounds like the initial units not reaching the Home Screen were likely impacted by incomplete firmware initialization, which can occasionally happen during manufacturing or first-time setup. We are glad to hear you were able to get assistance and return the affected printers.

 

To help ensure a smoother experience with your current printer:

 

  • Make sure the printer is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network
  • Complete the setup using the HP app (HP Smart / HP App) so firmware updates install automatically
  • Keep the printer powered on for a few minutes after setup so it can finish any background updates
