HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Print and scan doctor shows 2 HP Officejet Pro 9010 series printers with valid WLS IP 192.168.1.216  as installed. In Devices and Printers there are no HP Printers installed. Where are these printers and how can I delete them?

Hello,

Try to follow the following steps to remove the printer driver of the printer:

  1. Unplug the USB cable at the back of the printer, if necessary.
  2. On the keyboard, simultaneously tap the Windows flag and the R key. The Run window opens.
  3. Type printui /s /t2, then press Enter. The Print Server Properties window opens in the Drivers tab.
  4. Select HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 series, then Remove..., and then select Remove driver and driver package.
  5. Click OK, then Yes, and then Delete.
  6. Restart the computer.
  7. Then, open the HP Print and Scan Doctor software to check status of the printer.

Do not hesitate to contact us in case of need.

I used the printui prior to reporting this issue and it didn't clear these printers. The 2 printer ICONS do not represent/look like  the HP 9015 Printer.

Mans

I followed your steps and first I have a couple of comments:

  1. In the registry I did find Hewlett-Packard and deleted it but I also saw an HP folder but left it as is. I was confused by your statement (if the PC is HP-branded)
  2. I was able to delete PF \HP but PF(x86) would not let me delete HP Sys Event or HP AudioSwith because there were being used
  3. I did stop and start the spooler but didn't know how to Rename the file per your note/step 4

I did try the 256MB driver load and it didn't help

I redid your steps and the tried the 75MB diver load again no help

I ran the HP easy start again no help

It seemed the fax Icon was set up first the 10 min later the Printer ICON appeared

These installs stopped when they couldn't communicate with the FAX.

I just gave up and did a recovery on the Laptop and after it finished Win found and installed my WLS Brother and WLS HP Printers .

Print test and both WLS printers look good

Thanks for your help/inputs

Joe
