HP print and scan doctor refuses my administrator permissions

Hi Hocker5. I'm also using Windows 10Pro 64 bit. But I have no solution. Some people suggest it's a conflict between a recent Windows 10 update and the HP Doctor executable file, which HP need to fix.  Indeed there seem to be lot of angry people out there and HP are silent on the matter. HP support unfreundlich und verweist auf Microsoft, HP scheint das Problem nicht zur Kenntnis zu nehmen welch ein mieser Service, Deutsch als Servicesprache scheint kaum vorhanden, der Service sitzt in Polen oder Rumänien (Billig Billig)

Ärgerliche Ignoranz seitens HP. Was ist nur aus dieser Firma geworden!! Es zählt nur noch der schnelle Profit ... :-((

Here is a fix that worked for me:

For some reason the HP doctor files changes after some uses, the size changes from around 9000 ko to 11000 ko.

Just delete the file, download it again from HP and open it... et voilà !

Il faut supprimer le fichier exécutable du programme hp scan doctor qui est téléchargé sur la page de hp. https://support.hp.com/fr-fr/help/printscandoctor pour la France et le télécharger à nouveau.

Sorry, Almar33, we'd like to learn from you, however, your point is not clear to me. As Wpgs was asking: which file(s) are you referring to, which "uses" (execution ?) and which location? Kind regards, Ruschen

Having this issue for a long time. Tried every thing mentioned but still not working. Tried as an administrator but still no Please Help
