I just can't seem to get the printer driver to install.  Tried lots of the support here but no go.

My last computer was an HP LaserJet 400 all in one.  Worked fine but broke down and purchased a new HP Color Laserjet Pro MFG 3301fdw on a Win10 64bit computer.  No driver I find on your site will let me install. I have used HP Smart, the Printers and drivers install.   I am using Wi-Fi or network cable, and they both will not go.  Even had a conversation with a chat (Edited) with no solution.   In HP Smart I can see the printer and look at settings and all, but just can't get driver to install. Message is Driver is unavailable.

Still need help.

Hi @lockeyone,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3301fdw displays "Driver is unavailable," you can try a few solutions.

Begin by completely uninstalling HP drivers and software. Disconnect the printer, open Control Panel > Programs and Features, and remove all related HP software. Then, run printui.exe  /s /t2 from the Run dialog, remove the HP printer driver under the Drivers tab, and restart your PC.

Next, manually install the latest driver from HP's website by downloading the Full Solution Software for Windows 10 64-bit. Run the installer, and connect your printer via USB or Wi-Fi when prompted. If the driver still doesn’t work, add the printer manually using control printers. Choose "Add a printer using a TCP/IP address," input your printer’s IP (available in HP Smart or the printer display), and use either the existing driver or HP's Universal Driver.

Alternatively, try updating the driver through Device Manager. Right-click the printer under Printers and select "Update Driver," then let Windows search for updated software.

Feel free to share if additional assistance is needed, I’m here to help!
