HP printer WiFi to connection

I cannot get my HP printer WiFi to connect to my new iPhone 15. I get as far as "the phone is looking for" but can't find the printer. I need to be able to print from my computer, not just my phone. I used to be able to do that, before I got the new phone.

And, yes, the phone is but inches from the printer.

And, yes, I have purchased the HP app and have it on my computer.

Reset the Printer’s Network Settings

To ensure a clean setup, reset the printer’s Wi-Fi settings:

1. Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons on the printer for 5 seconds until the Power light blinks.
2. This will restore the network settings to default.

Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi

Use the HP Smart app on your iPhone or computer:

1. Make sure your iPhone or computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer on.
2. Open the HP Smart app.

3. Tap “+” to add a new printer.
4. The app should detect your printer in Setup Mode (within 2 hours of reset).

• You can print directly from your iPhone using AirPrint (no extra app needed).

2. If not, click “+” to add it again.
3. You can now print, scan, and manage settings from your PC.

Still Not Working?
