I run glass fiber internet in a mesh setup in my house: Fritzbox 7490 + 2 x Fritz 2400 as access points via LAN (fixed IPs). So far (after installing a beta update off the OS on my 7490), everything is going fine, fast and stable.

However, I do have an HP officejet 8610 that just wouldn't connect to the access points. I.e., using WPS or manual entering of the password leads to an initial connection, but then it says that since kind of Mac address filter could be active, and the wifi led keeps blinking. There certainly is no such filter active in my setup.

Interestingly, if I carry the printer in my basement right next to the wifi router, everything works fine and it can print. Bringing it back to the office, where the connection is with one of the access points, same problem as before.

Any advice will be appreciated.

              Hello labels,

Go to Wireless -> Wireless MAC Filtering, click Add New button. Type the MAC address you want to allow or deny to access the router and give a description of this item. The status should be Enabled and finally, click on the Save button.
