Is anyone else wondering why HP refuses to update its software?  Mac came out with a new OS months ago, and since then my HP can't scan.  It's not just my problem - if you go to the Apple download page for this software you see it was last updated over two years ago and that dozens of people are screaming at HP to do something for their now useless printer/scanners. Single star ratings and folks swearing they'd never buy HP again. And absolutely no reply from HP. I phoned tech support and got told "there's no updated software yet - be patient" They've certainly lost me as a future customer, and I'd warn everyone else to avoid their terrible policy of stranding their customers with outdated bricks.

@Ploni613 I understand your concern and I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
