After working perfectly for years. now when I open HP Smart, app hangs at "Applying account information..." I have searched the forums, powered up and down the printer, reinstalled the software, run the HP Print and Scanner trouble shooter and nothing has fixed it.

I see you are experiencing HP Smart issues with the HP OfficeJet Pro 8740 All-In-One Printer.
I have a few recommendations
- Uninstall HP Smart > Restart the computer and log in > Install the application from the Microsoft Store

- Restart the Computer and make sure internet connection is established before trying to sign in again.
