I'm trying to set up my new printer, but after putting ink in all the tanks I have the black ink icon that stays on, so I don't know how to go any further in the setup, what should I do since the tank is full?

Thank you for your help, but unfortunately none of these steps worked.
So I had it replaced after speaking to HP technical support over the phone, and the installation of the new printer went very smoothly.
At first glance, there was a mechanical problem with the old printer.

@Breco-Coval, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
If your HP Smart Tank 7305 All-in-One printer is displaying a black ink error with the black ink icon continuously on, it generally indicates that the black ink tank is low or out of ink. Here are the steps you should follow to resolve this issue:
Identify the Ink Icon: Notice which ink icon is lit or blinking, in this case, the black ink icon. This signifies the need to check the black ink tank.
Refill the Ink Tank:
- Open the ink access door.
- Check the black ink level. If it's low or empty, refill the black ink tank with the appropriate HP ink.
- Ensure that you use the correct ink type to avoid damage or poor print quality.
Close the Ink Access Door: Once the ink is refilled, close the ink access door securely.
Check Printer Status:
- After refilling, check the printer control panel to ensure the error message has cleared.
- If the error persists, it may be necessary to perform a printer reset.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn the printer off by pressing the power button.
- Unplug the printer from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the printer back into the power source and turn it on. This may help resolve any lingering errors.
Run HP Smart:
- Download and run the HP Smart. Follow the prompts to diagnose and fix common printing issues.
- Refer: Use Diagnose & Fix in HP Smart to repair common printing issues (Windows, macOS) | HP® Support
Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)
- Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
