HP+ will not activate

I have tried to activate HP+ on the HP Smart app as well as the HP Support Assistant app on my phone, mothers phones, mothers laptop and it keeps coming up as error and to exit… been happening for weeks now. We need to update our ink cartridges and we cannot as it will not allow us to activate HP+

HP+ is not related to Ink cartridges except in the general sense that the HP+ service contract requires that you purchase and use genuine HP ink for the printer.

I believe there might be a limited time frame (right after purchase) in which you can sign up for HP+ and its benefits.  That said, we do not speak for HP or any HP contract service.
