For HP printers that are enabled with HP+, the program is designed to ensure optimal performance and security by working exclusively with Original HP ink cartridges.
Bypassing HP+ to use non-HP cartridges may not be possible, as these printers come with dynamic security, which checks for the presence of cartridges using HP original chips.
The HP OfficeJet Pro 8215e may not function properly if you use cartridges with non-HP chips, as these devices are meant to work optimally with genuine HP supplies. Should you attempt to use non-HP cartridges, the printer might enter a restricted mode or not operate at all, which is a part of the dynamic security feature.
