I have a HP Deskjet 1515 connected to Macbook Pro 2019 running Mojave. I want to update the MacOS to Catalina and continue to use this printer. I went to https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-ink-advantage-1510-all-in-one-printer-se... If I change the OS to Catalina, it shows the same Mac printer driver as for Mojave. Will this driver work on Catalina for the HP1515 printer? It appears so however, I can't take the chance it doesn't. Does anyone know? Thank you

Today, a representative at HP told me that Apple had not released drivers to them for the HP1515 in support of Catalina. I called Apple and they told me that drivers were now available from them. If you go to https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US you can download them. Perhaps, the drivers on HP's site will work for the 1515, I don't know. Both sites make mention of the 5.1 download. The date Oct. 9 on HP's site for the drivers threw me. I asked about it and again the rep I spoke with told me they were not for Catalina. The drivers on Apple's site are dated October 24. I upgraded my laptop to Catalina and installed the new drivers from Apple. They work fine for me. Good luck.

Hello I leave you all the information of your printer https://support.hp.com/cl-es/product/hp-deskjet-ink-advantage-1510-all-in-one-printer-series/5285089..., and the printer manuals http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03832549, http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03837662,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qftftzh1Vgw, but if you want to do it anyway https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxFzZWqoCng, sincerely if you want to update your operating system to Catalina I warn you that the new version 10.15 has errors in programs like adobe and in some printers because it eliminates files of 32 that some programs and printers use. But wait for some hp expert to answer you because I know more or less on that subject, I hope your answer, I hope you serve cordial greetings 🙂

Thanks very much for the information. I was able to speak with HP Support today. They informed me that Catalina drivers for the HP1515 will be available in a week. The driver download page is misleading. It recognizes Mojave on my laptop and offers drivers for it. When I change the OS selector to Catalina, it shows the same drivers. That made me think the drivers would work for either. I don't think so. I'll wait. Catalina needs a few bugs to be worked out. Nothing new there for a recent release.
