HP F2100
macOS 10.15 Catalina

With my MacOS update to Catalina, my HP2100 is no longer working. Any suggestions? The printer still works perfectly fine, so I hate to have to get rid of it or buy something new.

Thanks.

Hi,

Is it Catalina or Big Sur?

For Big Sur, the printer is not yet supported at this time and no drivers are available.

If this is Catalina indeed, follow below steps to fully remove any existing software:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06960563

Next, download and install below drivers:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/ASU/HPPrinterDrivers5.1.dm...

Power on the printer and connect it to your Mac, from System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, click the plus sign and select the printer, then select your printer model within the Use drop-down menu and press Add.

Now try printing and check for any difference.
