My printer consistently prints an alignment page every time it powers up. I live in a rural area, so we frequently experience power outages. Whenever the power is restored, the printer spits out another alignment page, even if an alignment has already been done! I have tried nearly every online solution, but nothing seems to work. This is becoming costly in terms of paper and ink. I have ensured that all drivers are up to date, and the printer functions properly otherwise. This issue did not always occur. Could it be related to the fact that I’m using generic brand cartridges?

Hi @Phoenixxs
(1) Well, yes this could be related to another brand cartridges.
(2) Try again to align cartriges when the printer sends out another alignment page, follow steps from the next video:

(3) Check if printer works ok, but if the printer alignment page shows again maybe you need to change to HP brand cartridges.

Thank you for your reply.
Alignment is not the problem.
The problem is...... the printer prints out an alignment page after every power start, regardless of an alignment being done.
Example: Power goes off to my home. Power comes back on. Printer prints an alignment page.
Power goes off again, then is once again restored, again printer prints an alignment page.
This will continue like this each and every time my hydro is interrupted.
So, I'm thinking it may well have something to do with using generic cartridges. Maybe it's just time for a new printer....one that's not an HP..
