When I connect directly to the internal web server  most of the features are marked locked by admin. I dont know my password annd so I cant connect back to the local network. I havbe tried all button combinations mentioned on this site to do a factory reset but these locks remmain in place. Please send me the details to restore factory settings and remove these locks completely

 

why is this process so complicated. Al I want to do is to reconnect to to a new network. !!!

@sunshine-nick, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

There is no option to perform a factory reset on this printer as it does not have a touch screen.

 

Hold the wireless and the cancel button together for 3 seconds to restore the network settings on the printer.

You may use the WPS method to connect the printer to the network if you do not know the password.

Refer to this document.

 

To find the wireless password, you may contact your Internet service provider or refer to this document.

Note: Printers may not work on a guest network.
