I know its an older printer, but with upgrade to Windows 11 the old HP software was replaced with HP Smart App and I can't get option to print to 11x17 size paper. It wor

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

The HP.com site drive download - Full_Webpack-1322_1-OJ7500_E910_Full_Webpack.exe - downloads, opens up and offers to connect via USB, but even with USB cable attached it still does not pick it up.

It seems to me a Windows 11 compatibility issue.

So is there any compatible driver I can try instead?

Or is there a way to get the HP7500 recognized By USB?

Some Windows installs lack the correct DOT4 programming to properly recognize usb printers. This started with Windows 8 but still causes some issues. HP used to post this fix, but lately I have not seen it listed so I have created a dropbox copy of the file that you can download: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/y7ab7zewcjvrjt6y0rm2f/Dot4x64.msi?rlkey=a9nmc7hucd821sf4olb3ngz1v&dl=...

Run this and then try to install printer.
