This could be a software, or a printing question.

Is there a way to get the HP 7520 ICM to default to "Pictures" rather than "Proof"?

Hello Sandytechy20,

File>Print>PrintSettings>Advanced>ImageColorManagement>ICM Intent  --  This is always set to "Proof". 

When I'm printing a lot of pictures, I have to go through this process, with each print. Can I not set the default to "Pictures"?

You can create a custom size and quality and to print it every time
