I recently bought HP Envy 6000e.


I have tried to install the B&W and colour cartridges.

 

Unfortunately the setup is stuck on "Validating... please wait while we check the cartridges.

 

I've tried installing support software. It leads to fresh cycles of circular unhelpful irrelevant advice.

 

Please HP community forum, help!

I see that you are facing issues with the setup cartridges on your HP ENVY 6000e All-In-One Printer.

 

Please follow the steps listed below to initialize the printer.
1. Open the ink cartridge access door.
2. Press and hold the Wireless button for at least three seconds.
3. Close the ink cartridge access door. An alignment page prints, indicating that the printer has initialized.
4. If the printer does not initialize, repeat these steps until it does.
