Hello HP Community, I recently brought a HP Deskjet 2630 printer (currently in working condition) from Qatar to India. I found out that HP has different cartridge number in India I had to do region reset to use the Indian cartridges on my printer. After looking around I came to know that I had to talk to HP support to change the region of my printer.
So went on Twitter and tweeted my concern and tagged HP support. I have to say they had a very decent response time even during night time. I did as they asked me to do, I got the Indian ink cartridges which is 803, installed them, went on HP printer software, opened region reset window, shared the code through screenshot, they gave me the code to fill in the empty box, I enetered them, it even showed "Region reset succedful" and I then restarted the printer. But it still said "Incompatible Ink Cartridges". There wasn't even any Firmware Update in printer.
I have been trying to do region reset on my printer for the last 1 week but I am not able to do it.
If there is any step that I am missing or is there any different method I can try so please let me know in the replies. I have seen this community has been very active, so I have faith in you guys. I will be very thankful to you all.
Thank You,
Akash.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand that you are not able to do a region reset on your printer, I am glad to assist you.
Performing those steps on a printer multiple times may brick the device permanently. This might require one on one interaction to fix the issue, I am sending you a private message with the steps to talk to HP support.
Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen. I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.
If this helps, please mark the public post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
