Hp photosmart 8150
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Photosmart 8150 printer that was working fine with windows 10 for a couple of years, then it stopped. A technician doing a remote, did a recovery and the printer worked again for 2 days, then stopped. Need help

@shirah36, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and and click on 'Fix printing'.

 

Install the printer using Windows built-in driver

Refer to this document to know how.

 

Make sure you are using a USB cable that is no longer than 3 meters. 

Connect the USB cable directly between the printer and the PC. Use of a USB hub is not recommended.

Also, connect the USB cable to a USB 2.0 port on the PC.
