Deskjet D1560
macOS 10.14 Mojave

Hi , I have a deskjet d1560 , was lying unused for 6 months. I am trying to use it now but when I press the power button the lights are blinking very fast, when I press the power button again the lights blink every 1 second , when I press the power button a third time the printer finally goes off. There are no sounds of any motors running or cartridges moving. I have installed new carts today and there is no paper jam. I have also tried a hard reset and still does not work. When I connect it to my computer using a usb cable it says printer offline. Please help !!

Hi @Ammar0011

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

I appreciate that you have already tried the possible troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue. Perform the steps mentioned in this document.

If the issue persists, this could be a possible hardware issue. If so, connecting the printer wirelessly to the MAC is of no use.

Let me know how this goes.
