Hi @RHBovis,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're experiencing problems while setting up the HP DeskJet 2810e All-in-One Printer. Follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve common issues:

1. Check Hardware Connections

  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the printer and a power outlet.
  • Make sure the printer is turned on. The power LED should be lit and not blinking.

2. Verify Printer Installations

  • Open the printer’s cartridge access door and make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed.
  • Ensure no packing materials are left inside the printer.

3. Connectivity Settings

  • Make sure the printer is connected to the correct network. If using Wi-Fi, check that the correct SSID (network name) is selected.
  • For USB connections, verify the cable is undamaged and connected to your computer.

4. Device Software and Drivers

  • Confirm that you have installed the latest printer drivers. Visit HP's Support Page to download the necessary drivers.
  • If using mobile or wireless printing, ensure your device is running the required applications, such as the HP app.

5. Printer Reset

  • Try resetting the printer as a last resort. Turn off your printer and unplug the power cord. Wait 1-2 minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.

6. Check System Requirements

  • Ensure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for operation (e.g., Windows 10 or macOS versions).

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
