At a time when economy is so important to the planet how can HP market a new printer without duplex. I've just bought a 4130e printer and set it up only to find it cannot automatically print to both sides. I'm not one to complain normally but this is SO BASIC I feel something needs to be said.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
After reading your post I did go through the Product Specifications and found out the HP DeskJet 4130e printer does not support duplexers.

If it is brand new I would check with vendor and see if you can exchange it for a model that does duplex.

This issue was my own stupid fault. I had an ENVY 5544 for several years (with duplex) and had been having problems with it e.g. taking 4 attempts to print 1 page when told there was a paper jam - which there wasn't. It also gave a grinding noise frequently.
I'd had enough of it, but wanted to keep my ink account going, so looked for another HP with 62 cartridges within my price range - which there wasn't. The 4130e looked to be a good alternative - and that is it. I was wrong and now have to put up with a single feed for the next 'n' years.
