How come I can't choose "best" quality for HP MFP M281fdw on Mac OS

When printing to this printer, I can only choose normal or sketch quality print, not best. How come?

I see that you have issues with choosing the best quality to print, is this from one particular application or all applications?

Have you checked the driver settings guide? If no, here it is HP Printers - Print Settings Guide (Mac).

Also, use this document HP LaserJet Pro MFP - Change print-job settings (Mac OS X) if need be.

If you still have issues, I'd request you to share the picture of the settings window on your computer for further assistance.

The documents you suggested are very basic and presents nothing new.

I've attached the printer dialogue. If I try to choose best quality ("Bedst"), the slider just flips back to normal.

Try to remove and add the printer using AirPrint drivers. Try adjusting the settings. Here is a document that will help you use the AirPrint options- HP Printers - Printing with Apple AirPrint (Mac)

The printer does not support best and this is why it snaps back.
