HP Color LaserJet CP1215 Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to troubleshoot some status-light errors on our HP Color LaserJet CP1215 Printer, but automatic troubleshooting is unable to solve the problem. All of the solutions that I have found suggest using the HP Toolbox application which seems to no longer be available anywhere. The suggested alternative, HP Print and Scan Doctor,  is severely lacking and does not include any apparent options to change the printer settings, most specifically, the "cartridge out override" setting.

How can I access the "cartridge out override" setting and the additional settings/status-codes available to my printer without the HP Toolbox application?

Without the toolbox you have no option!

That's not a solution at all.
