Hi,
One of my clients is trying to change which tray to print from on their LaserJet Pro P1102w. So far, the only method they have found that works is to remove ALL of the paper from Tray 1 to print from Tray 2 or vice versa. I have installed the appropriate drivers and even looked through HP Smart but could not find a way to select which tray/source to print from. I read somewhere online that certain HP Printers simply do not have this capability. Is this printer capable of doing this and if so, how?

Hi,
An HP Laserjet P1102w printer have a main paper tray, with a priority 10-sheet tray above.
That means that only the bottom paper tray is a paper tray for regular usage,
The priority input tray above allow loading up to 10 sheets of a different media, whenever the priority tray have media in it, the priority tray will be prioritize and used.
Please see page 35 of its user guide with paper usage guidelines:
