To change the scanning resolution on your ENVY 7220 and ensure higher quality scans, follow these steps:

Open the HP Scan software on your computer. If you haven't installed it yet, you can download it from HP Support.

Select your scanner from the list of available devices.

Choose the Scan Settings. Look for an option that says Resolution or Scan Quality. This is typically found in the advanced settings or preferences section of the scanning software.

Adjust the resolution:

  • DPI (Dots Per Inch): Increase the DPI to make your scans higher quality. Common resolutions are 300 DPI for documents and up to 1200 DPI for photos.
  • Other settings: Check if there are any other image quality settings that can be adjusted to improve the scan quality.

Select the appropriate settings for your scanning needs and apply the changes.

Start the scan. Ensure that the resolution and any other image quality settings are applied before scanning your document or photo.

For detailed instructions and troubleshooting, you may also refer to your HP ENVY 7220 User Manual.
