How do I delete a printer from the HP Smart app?

I've submitted several support tickets on this and HP can't fix the issue - it's unbelievable. I got a new printer and I'm trying to delete and remove my old printer from everything including HP Smart but when I click the printer profile it only links to my new printer so I cannot hit the "Remove Printer" button on HP Smart on my computer, phone app, or web login for HP.

In other words, the solution described here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Setup-Software-Drivers/How-do-I-delete-a-printer-from-the-HP-S... I can't do because I cannot get to that page!

@CodyL

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help.

Did you try to uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart App?

Let me know 🙂

Thanks!

No, but I just tried that and it didn't help. Same issue.

To be clear, this happens on HP Smart whether computer-based software, Apple iOS based mobile software, or web-based HP Smart. So, I think it's fair to say it isn't a local software issue but a backend HP Smart bug.

Right. It should be fixed with the next update.
