Hello,
I need to reset the admin password on my HP Deskjet 3750, I set-up a custom (randomly generated) password which either the printer hasn't acknowledged or I pasted into my password manager incorrectly, so there's no way for me to change any of the printer settings now, as the printer doesn't acknowledge the password I set.
I've tried Factory resetting the printer by unplugging, leaving for 30 second, then plugging back in with the power button and cancel button held,as per the HP forum post here, but this seems to only print a status report, giving me lots of technical details about the printer and indeed does confirm that an admin password is still set, the printer remains connected to the WiFI and doesn't seem to have factory reset itself.
Can anyone help me truly Factory reset this thing so that it is how it is out of the box?
Many thanks,
Michael

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, we need to perform a factory reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
