Hi @Nana1216

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the concern regarding your HP Deskjet 3050A showing error code 0X00759098 and not printing or copying. Let’s go step by step with recommended actions to bring the printer back to normal operation.

Restart the printer

  • Turn the printer off.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord directly to a wall outlet (avoid surge protectors).
  • Turn the printer back on.

Check for paper jams or obstructions

  • Open the access doors and remove any paper stuck inside.
  • Ensure the carriage moves freely from side to side.

Verify cartridges

  • Open the cartridge access door.
  • Remove both cartridges, inspect for protective tape or debris, and reinstall them securely.
  • Make sure they click into place.

Update printer firmware

  • On your Windows PC, open the HP App.
  • Select your printer, then go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings > Firmware Update.
  • Install any available updates.

Run Diagnose & Fix

  • In the HP App, select your printer.
  • Click Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
  • Follow the guided steps to automatically resolve detected issues.

Reset the printer settings (if issue persists)

  • On the printer control panel, navigate to Setup > Tools > Restore Defaults.
  • Confirm the reset and allow the printer to restart.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
