Product: Dell Inspiron 3593
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed HP Smart as HP Photo Solutions is no longer available. I plugged in my printer and hit the find printer icon. The program did not find my printer, I have an HP Photosmart C6200. Is the printer too old or is there a work around? Thank you very much.

Hi,

The printer is too old to be used with the HP Smart app, it is intended for much newer printers.

 

You may use the HP Scan Extended for scanning with the HP Software installed and check if that may work:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Thank you. I can use the scan app but it will not allow me to print pictures. I guess it might be time for a new printer. I have an Epson but it was really cheap and does not have the same online functions for printing.
