I recommend you connect to the Router or  Modem and avoid WiFi direct


Click here for network setup using HP Smart but in a different language

Envy 4510, 4511, 4512, 4513, 4516,4520, 4521, 4522, 4523, 4524, 4525, 4526, 4527, 4528, 4529


Wifi Direct setup video using smartphone and Hp Smart. The printer uses only the 2.4 ghz band so all systems need to be on the 2.4 if you use WiFi direct.  This is useful if there is no modem or you do not want to give someone access to your modem but you want to let them print something..


Network setup video connect to modem or routers. This is the normal network setup.

WPS or push button PIN setup is explained here. This is useful if no smartphone or a problem using HP Smart.

Let me know if you have a flex system (WiFi boosters or repeaters) as the setup is much more complicated.
