Hi @Lo2023,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To lock shortcuts, you can follow these general steps.

  • Select the shortcut you want to lock: Identify the specific shortcut that you want to lock on your device. This could be a keyboard shortcut, a desktop shortcut, or a shortcut on your mobile device.
  • Access shortcut properties: Right-click on the shortcut icon or file and choose "Properties" from the context menu. Alternatively, you may need to access the shortcut properties through a different method depending on your operating system or device.
  • Lock the shortcut: Look for an option within the shortcut properties that allows you to lock or make the shortcut read-only. This option may be located under the "General" or "Security" tab, or it might be a checkbox within the properties window. Enable the lock or read-only option to prevent accidental modifications to the shortcut.
  • Save and apply changes: Once you've enabled the lock or read-only option, click "Apply" or "OK" to save the changes and close the properties window.

By locking a shortcut, you make it more difficult to accidentally delete, move, or modify the shortcut.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
