Product / Printer Model:  ?

Operating System:  ?

Software / Application:  ?

Connection Type:  ?

Content / File Type:  ?

Paper Size / Type: ?

Job type:  Print Address on Envelope

There are typically two addresses added on an envelope used to send content through the US Mail Service.

"From" - The Sender

and

"To"     -  The Recipient / Destination

The sender's address (From) belongs in the upper left corner on the front of the envelope

The recipient's address (To) belongs just below the horizontal and vertical center of the front of the envelope

Tools (Apps / Software) used to add the information to the envelope in printed form depend on the following:

  • Device - For example, Computer, Tablet, Phone
  • Printer Model - For example, a printer capable of supporting the envelope size, type, weight
  • Operating System / version - For example, Windows, iOS
  • Apps / Software - For example, Word > Mailings > Envelope (Preferred), Word (Manual document), HP Smart (not preferred but can generally do the job using a PDF file with From and To addresses).

Print Envelope - Basics

  • Load the appropriate, supported envelope into the printer's intake tray
  • Adjust the Tray and Paper using either the printer's full service touchscreen Printer Control Panel or EWS
  • Open the appropriate application or software and create the envelope - for Example, Word    NOTE:  For Windows, Word requires having installed the full driver printer software
  • Print the envelope using an application / software designed for the file type (For example, Word document, PDF document)
