Your Deskjet printer does not support borderless printing.
This is a common restriction for Deskjet printers.

Results depend on your device, Operating System, and the software you are using to view / submit the job to the printer.
In addition, the Aspect Ratio (shape of the image) compared to the shape / size of the paper impacts how a photo is placed on the paper. This just means that if the shape of the original image / photo does not exactly match the paper on which the photo is being printed, either the photo must be cropped / edited, or the object must be fitted to the paper. If the shape of the image does not match the shape of the paper, margins can look odd.
This is easy to fix using printer software in a PC or Mac Operating System.
For example, Windows > Paint (mspaint)
Center Vertical and Horizontal to "even out" the margins

What else?
HP Smart Windows (and likely Mac OS)
Set the image to Crop or Fit in the print menu.

What else?
Fitting the photo to the paper is not always quite so straight forward using "other" OS.
For example, HP Smart Mobile (iOS) only provides rudimentary options for printing.
Included: Manual (where you pinch / expand the object), Original size (take what you get), Fit to page, and Fill Page.
Example
