Hi @JOE7569,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To reduce the size of a document so that it fits in your wallet, you can adjust the print settings on your HP Envy Pro 6455 to scale down the document. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Adjust Print Settings Using HP Smart App
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Make sure your HP Envy Pro 6455 is selected.
- Load the document you want to print into the app.:
- Click on Print and then go to Settings or Advanced Settings.
- Look for an option like Scaling, Fit to Page, or Page Sizing.
- Select the option to Scale Down or Reduce Size. You may need to enter a specific percentage to fit the document to the desired size.
- Preview the document to ensure it fits the desired size.
- Click Print to print the scaled-down document.
2. Adjust Print Settings Using Windows Print Dialog
- Open the document in its respective application (e.g., PDF reader, Word processor).
- Go to File > Print or press Ctrl + P.
- Choose your HP Envy Pro 6455 from the list of printers.
- Click on Properties, Preferences, or Advanced depending on the application.
- Look for a section related to Page Layout, Scaling, or Size Options.
- Select an option such as Fit to Page or enter a custom scaling percentage to reduce the document size.
- Preview the document to ensure it’s the right size.
- Click Print to start printing the reduced-size document.
3. Adjust Print Settings Using PDF Software (if applicable)
- Open your PDF document in a PDF reader like Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Go to File > Print or press Ctrl + P.
- Choose your HP Envy Pro 6455 from the list of printers.
- Look for a section titled Page Sizing & Handling.
- Choose Shrink Oversized Pages or Custom Scale.
- Enter a percentage to reduce the size of the document.
- Check the preview to make sure the document fits as desired.
- Click Print to print the scaled document.
4. Use a Document Editing Software
- Open your document in a word processor or PDF editor.
- Use the document’s editing tools to resize the content. For example, you can reduce the font size, margins, or adjust the layout.
- Go to File > Print Setup or Print and adjust the scaling settings as described in the previous steps.:
- After adjusting, preview the document and print.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
