Just going to throw this out there - are you noting a theme where there's possibly a bigger issue?  Although it's nice to know I'm not the only one struggling with this printer, the number of people with the same request for the same reason seems to be growing.  I've struggled for a couple hours trying to sort out the sudden inability to connect to wi-fi and I'm done.  

 

Can you please send me the instructions on how to perform a factory reset so it's like a just took this brick out of the box?

I am having exactly the same issue.  The WiFi on my HP Officejet Pro 9015  has somehow become disabled and I am unable to print at all even if using a cable.  My preference is to be able to print wirelessly from my laptops and iphone.  The printer message says "unable to detect ethernet cable" even though I have connected that in my efforts to print.  I re-set the original network settings without any success.  I am guessing that I need to start from scratch with a complete re-set so I can simply set the printer up again.  The printer is only a couple of months old.

I'd like to help!

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

This is the message I get when I follow your instructions to get my private message on how to re-set my printer:

You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action.

Click your browser's Back button to continue.

This should not be this difficult.  So, I am headed out to Best Buy now to buy a $129 printer so that I can meet my work deadlines. Rest assured it won't be an HP printer.  I am very disappointed in this process - please send me immediately the instructions for re-setting my HP Office Jet Pro 9015 that is not encrypted!
