How do I reset my desk jet 2700 series to manufacturers setting?

Decides to print when it feels like it…how do I reset to manufacturers settings? Thought a reboot might fix

After the reset, use HP Smart app to setup and connect it to the network.

Thank you for your reply. I’d tried this…didn’t solve my problem. Went to your video and tried again

printed some random doc. It sent a pic to it to print, image in hp ap went to black and white, then failed to print and told printer busy

maybe I need a new printer ☹️

Hi,

What device/app are you using to print?  If it's a WIN 10 pc, do ensure that the updates are current.

Black and White print are driver settings that can be controlled.  If it's able to print, the printer is not spoilt. (unless the printouts are bad which could meant a defective print cartridge or printer PCA part is defective)

Is the printer connected wirelessly and is it very far from the router?

Were you able to print some Diagnostic documents from HP Smart app?

im printing from an iPad Air 3 and iPhone 11 neither work

if I leave it connected after the reset you advised me about it dues nothing for hrs then decides to print a doc my husband send from a pic weeks ago 

it’s now printed it numerous times

any ideas xx
