Hello, I have a new hp 2755e printer. By the time we got ready to do the alignment process the alignment program had timed out. The alignment page that printed out said that if the alignment program has timed out to 'restart the alignment program using the hp smart app'. I've got the smart app installed on my computer (Macbook Air, MacOS Monterey 12.1) but I can't find any way to 'restart the alignment program'. No mention of it anywhere that I can see.
Can anyone tell me how to restart the alignment program using the smart app?

Hi @dlrsn,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To restart the alignment program using the HP Smart app on your HP 2755e printer, follow these steps.
- Open the HP Smart app on your device and make sure your printer is connected to the app.
- Tap on the "Printers" icon located at the bottom of the screen and select your printer from the list.
- Once you have selected your printer, tap on the "Printer Toolbox" option.
- From the Printer Toolbox, select the "Align Printer" option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the alignment process.
If you encounter any issues during the alignment process, try resetting your printer by turning it off and back on again. You may also want to check the ink cartridges to make sure they are properly installed and have enough ink.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
