If you are using HP Smart - Windows, it is normally easy to do.

Open the app > select to print photo > select Paper Size > Select photo size.

If you are using HP Smart Mobile (iOS or Android),

Resizing the photo size can be awkward, difficult, and nearly impossible to get "exactly" the way you want it.
