1. Make sure your macOS has all the latest updates from Apple
2. Make sure your macOS has been connected to the internet in the last 48 hours or so. The original trigger has been reversed and your macOS should get the update to stop these message.
3. Depending on what printer you have there are a few ways to get the latest software. But the most reliable is to go to 123.hp.com enter your printer model and that will direct you to the correct software to install.

I have gone to 123.hp, which suggested I download HPSmart, which I did. It solved my scanning issues, which is great. But I still have the "HPDeviceMonitoring.framework will damage your computer" message on my desktop, and I cannot get rid of it for the life of me! I went fo Finder, found the particular HPDeviceMonitoring folder and deleted it. Still it didn't work. Any suggestions?
