How do i print a word file on my HP Officejet Pro 8630 printer using a usb flash drive and no computer?

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing printing using USB drive issues with the HP Officejet Printer.  

Follow these steps to print documents from a USB flash drive:

Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port on the front of the printer, and then wait until the printer detects the flash drive.

On the screen that displays, touch Print Documents.

Scroll to and touch the name of the file that you want to print.

NOTE: If the file is stored in a folder, touch the name of the folder, and then scroll to and touch the name of the file.

On the Print from USB screen, touch any of the options to change the settings for the print job. These options vary depending on the printer model.

NOTE: For additional options, touch the Settings icon. Once you have selected the desired options, touch the Back button to return to the Print from USB screen.

Touch Print to print the job.

Retrieve the printed job from the output bin, and then remove the USB flash drive from the USB port.
