HP Recommended

How do you erase files scanned to the HP Smart app on a Chrome book? I have deleted the file from the Chrome Book hard drive but the file shows up in preview and PDF files inside the app. I cannot find a way to delete these files.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,  I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

Method 1:

Select the tab (with the upwards arrow on it) at the bottom of the screen to open the app drawer. Scroll down to display the Print Apps section. Select the Delete option and then select the app you wish to delete.

Method 2:

Press and hold the file name and choose delete.
